Fitzers Catering picked up two awards at the 2019 Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Chamber Business Awards. DLR Chamber represents more than 800 companies, from start-ups to multi-nationals, connecting over 50 industry sectors and these two awards were in recognition of the efforts Fitzers Catering make in the over all sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Healthy Venues Accredidation

Fitzers & The Convention Centre Dublin is third in the world to receive Healthy Venues Accreditation, it has been awarded a silver status by the World Obesity Federation’s Healthy Venues Award programme. The CCD is the second venue in Europe, and third worldwide, to receive a Healthy Venue accreditation after it met all the criteria to become a Silver Healthy Venue.

The Healthy Venues Award encourages venues to support their delegates and staff in making healthier choices during conferences. It is broken down into the three components of workplace health, healthy catering and promoting activity.

Fitzers Catering Limited announced as one of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies!

Platinum Standard: Fitzers Catering receives award for the seventh year in a row.

Fitzers Catering Ltd. has been named as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed’ companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme. The company, which demonstrated superior business performance for the seventh year, was recognised at an awards gala dinner in Dublin.

The Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme, in association with Bank of Ireland, the Irish Management Institute and Sunday Business Post, recognises indigenous Irish companies across Ireland which are operating at the highest levels of business performance.

Commenting on the award, Barry Storey, MD, Fitzers Catering “We are delighted to collect the award, in particular because it is recognised as the Platinum Award being the seventh successful year within the Deloitte’s best managed companies awards programme.”


Fitzers catering at Titanic Belfast achieved Investors in People in 2015. This is a management framework for high performance through people. The prestigious accreditation is recognised across the world as a mark of excellence. It is accredited to optimise performance by championing best practice in people management and equipping organisations with the tools needed to succeed. Organisations that demonstrate the Investors in People Standard achieve the accreditation through a rigorous and objective assessment to determine performance.


The Racecourse of the Year Award went to Leopardstown Racecourse for the second year in a row. It was selected by the Racegoers Consultative Forum based upon the best all-around customer experience. The Foxrock track also collected special category awards for Best Catering, Best Information Services and Best Entertainment.



Taste of Ulster Guide promotes approx. 145 Taste of Ulster members, which has an international reputation and is also widely used and recommended within the province. As Northern Ireland’s premier guide for establishments of excellence dedicated to the use of local produce.


The five-star accreditation was awarded under a new NITB scheme designed to provide visitors with quality grading information on Northern Ireland’s tourist attractions. To achieve a star-rating, attractions are subject to checks from a mystery visitor and are assessed in up to six categories.

Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence

Now in its third year, the award celebrates hospitality excellence and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. Winners of the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website, with only the top 10% receiving the prestigious award.
